It has been four years since Fun House Theatre and Film took audiences back to the 1980's and told the tale of the night Dan Quayle saved Christmas. In the show that Fun House fans have never stopped clamoring for, Jeff Swearingen and his crew of small but mighty actors do what they do best in creating an original story that appeals to adults and children alike.

Jeff Swearingen's The Ultimate Holiday Experience is full of outrageous characters, situations and comedic action making this holiday themed fare perfect for young audience members while historical figures, political satire and pop culture icons of a decade gone by will have adults waxing nostalgic.

After sold out runs in both 2011 and 2012, topping many year end best of lists and launching the careers of many of the Metroplex's most successful young actors, Fun House takes the opportunity of one of the most divisive years on record, 2016, to bring back their cult classic of a yuletide tale. Laughter abounds and a timeless message of good will emerges in a way only playwright and director Jeff Swearingen could reveal. Madcap, merry and meaningful, a cast of 25 young actors, including many reprising their original roles, reminds audiences that no matter who you are, for at least one day a year, we can all get along...and that's a start.

The Story: Santa is lost. He fell out of the sleigh and his reindeer are trying to find him but their attempts to recover him are setting off radars on both sides of the world, heating up the cold war at the Pentagon and the Kremlin. In Moscow a group of orphans get more than they bargained for just trying to watch their favorite holiday special while in the U.S. a single mom trying to deal with holiday madness gets caught up in more bustle than she could have possibly imagined. As the insanity unfolds, Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Robocop, Rocky IV's Drago and more nuts than in any fruitcake get thrown into the mix while one man, Dan Quayle, is thrust into the position of having the safety of the free world riding on his shoulders.
