This spring, Center Stage Theatre of Shelton will debut the romantic comedy ENCHANTED APRIL, written by Matthew Barber, adapted from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim. The show runs March 23 through April 14 at Center Stage Theatre, 54 Grove Street, Shelton, CT 06484.

Set in 1922, ENCHANTED APRIL brings together four unique women escaping harsh, rainy, war-scarred London to the warm sun and blooming wisteria of the Italian countryside. Leaving husbands and societal obligations behind, the desperate Hampstead housewives Lotty and Rose, severe Mrs. Graves, and seductive Lady Caroline, along with some unexpected guests, learn to appreciate each other while rediscovering how to laugh and love under the Italian sun.

The cast are Suzanne Powers, Catherine Deitelbaum, Hugh Tucker, Rob Garber, Trish Maskell, Ken Briodagh, and Liesbet Higham and Joyce Piscitelli. The show is directed by Jim Lones.
