Columbus Children's Theatre will present the regional premiere of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach May 4-14 at the Lincoln Theatre located at 769 E. Long Street. This production is directed by Ryan Scarlata and choreographed by Dionysia Williams. Music and Lyrics written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.


ABOUT THE SHOW
Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach tell the iconic story, through song and dance, of James as he goes on a journey of epic proportions. He comes across a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach, human-sized insects, and a marvelous trip across the Atlantic Ocean.

Whether you read this renowned book or saw the Disney live-action and stop-motion movie version, the story of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach has been a part of many lives. The classic story of young James wanting to find a home and a true family comes to life through music and dance. This timeless tale features music by the award winning duo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. This pair has recently rose to fame, winning an Academy Award for their work in La La Land.

CCT is proud to bring Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach to the Columbus community as first regional production of the two act musical by a local theatre company. This highly-anticipated production will be presented in the historic Lincoln Theatre. CCT is thrilled to be closing out their 2017-2018 season with this amazing production. It is sure to be full of magic, wonder, heart, and plenty of amazing musical numbers that will leave you humming along for days.
