First Ladies Speaker Coming To Museum For Canton Fine Arts

A dramatic portrayal of First Lady Dolly Madison will be the featured topic for the October 11th program offered by Canton Fine Arts Associates. Held in the Wilkof Courtyard of the Canton Museum of Art, the program is entitled "A Portrait of Queen Dolly" and features speaker Lucinda Frailly, Director of Education of the National First Ladies Library.

Her portrayal will include wearing a reproduction of Dolly Madison's Inaugural gown.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 11:30am to 2pm and will include a full-course catered lunch.

Cost of the luncheon and program is $15 per person and is open to the public. For reservations, contact program coordinator Suzie Thomas, 330-453-7666 ext. 105.

Canton Fine Arts, founded in 1952, is a service organization affiliated with the Canton Museum of Art. The group is open to men and women of all ages who express interest in the work of the Museum and their love of art through volunteerism.
