Raue Center For The Arts is excited to share a sneak peek of their 2017 - 2018 season! The upcoming season features something for everyone to enjoy, with exciting programming ranging from nationally touring acts and Broadway musicals to local favorites and holiday traditions! "The Raue Center board, staff, 100+ corporate partners and volunteers are very excited to continue to bring arts and culture to Crystal Lake - a great place to live and enjoy the arts," says Executive Director Richard Kuranda. "This town continues to grow and it is with that energy in mind that we planned our 2017 - 2018 season. The upcoming season has something for everyone and we couldn't be more proud. We invite all to experience a night at Raue Center and make sure to visit one of the fabulous restaurants and pubs located a few steps away! Come out and be part of the arts!"

Highlights of Raue Center's 2017 - 2018 season include an improvised sketch comedy show featuring "Saturday Night Live" alum Jim Belushi (9/22), master storyteller Garrison Keillor (9/24), "Cocktail Hour: The Show" by Ballets with a Twist (11/11) and a debate featuring historical interpreter Clay Jenkinson (11/18).

The upcoming season will also feature a variety of hit tribute shows including "One Night in Memphis" (6/17), Heartache Tonight: An Eagles Tribute (11/25) and another close glimpse into the Beatles' vast history book from American English (1/6).

Popular Raue Center programs like Williams Street Rep Comedy and Lucy's Comedy Cafe will continue in the upcoming season. Shows such as "Nothin' Up My Sleeve" (11/4), Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra (12/8), Voices in Harmony's "Sing Along Messiah" (12/9) and "The Nutcracker" with Berkshire Ballet Theatre (12/16 - 12/17) will also return for another year!

The season will also feature two hit Broadway musicals, produced by Williams Street Repertory, Raue Center's professional in-house theatre company, "Guys and Dolls" (6/30 - 7/23) and "Little Shop of Horrors" (10/6 - 10/29). More WSRep shows will be announced as the season continues!

Tickets are now on sale to RaueNOW Members and will be available to the public on May 23. Tickets may be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or at 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
