For over 50 years, Liberty Place was the headquarters of Armstrong World Industries. The building is situated behind Clipper Stadium, with easy access from either Prince Street or Harrisburg Pike. Ample parking is on-site and free. Today, dozens of businesses and organizations have offices at Liberty Place. The building boasts what is now a vintage-style theater, used in the Armstrong days as a place to rehearse large theatrical product presentations sent on tour around the globe.

Manheim-based LCBC Church took on the substantial task of remodeling the theater for their weekly gatherings, renovating the venue with state-of-the-art audio, lighting and projection equipment. PRiMA Theatre is the first performing organization to be hosted at the now well-resourced venue.

RETRO REMIX is turning the dial on today's top radio standards with retro-pop versions of your favorite songs in this original theatrical concert experience. The show was inspired by the Youtube and internationally touring sensation, Postmodern Jukebox.

RETRO REMIX

  • April 23, 30, May 7 | 7pm
  • Liberty Place | 313 W Liberty St, Lancaster, PA 17603

Performers include a live band and top singers from around the world. Vocalists include Lydia Brittan (Nashville-based musician), Jaclyn Harnish (Venezuelan-born singer, turned local cabaret favorite), Cara Clase (PhD candidate in economics, and graduate of Millersville University who blew away audiences in Aida), and Reji Woods (PRiMA veteran and the first African American title role performer in Noah at Sight & Sound Theatres).

The band features Sissy Dinkle, an acclaimed bass player who began her professional training in Lancaster, who moved on to receive her Master's degree in bass performance from Berklee while studying in Valencia, Spain. She now tours the nation. Similarly, Arturo Ortega is a touring musician, who began his professional percussion career as a drummer from Spain. Ortega moved to Seattle at the ripe age of 18 to launch his touring musician career. As a professional musician, he spent many of the last few months performing with the Pennsylvania Philharmonic Orchestra. The band also includes local favorites, Adam Rineer on keys, and Andrew Mendola on guitar.

RETRO REMIX plays a limited run of three consecutive Sundays (April 23, 30, May 7) at 7pm. Tickets start at $24.00 and are available by phone at 717-327-5124 or online at www.primatheatre.org.
