Lise Lindstrom will perform in concert at The Glimmerglass Festival on Sunday, August 11, at 5:30 p.m. She replaces Christine Goerke, who has had to withdraw from the engagement for personal reasons.

The concert, A Wagner Celebration, will feature Lise Lindstrom singing selections from the German composer and from other signature roles alongside members of the Young Artists Program, the company's acclaimed apprentice program for emerging performers.

Lise Lindstrom made her Glimmerglass debut in 2010, singing the title role in Puccini's Tosca. She recently made her company and role debut as Brünnhilde in Teatro Massimo's production of Wagner's Die Walküre and has sung the role of Senta in Wagner's The Flying Dutchman with Polish National, New Orleans and Utah operas. Her performances as Turandot have been seen at the Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Savonlinna Opera Festival and more.

The 2013 Glimmerglass Festival runs through August 24 with productions of Wagner's The Flying Dutchman; Lerner and Loewe's Camelot; Verdi's King for a Day and Passions, a double bill of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and David Lang's the little match girl passion. The mainstage productions are accompanied by many special events, including concerts, lectures, backstage tours and more. Visit www.glimmerglass.org for more information.
