LATE NITE CATECHISM Extends At Geva

Folks can't seem to get enough of this Sister! Catechism classes are never as much fun - or as hilarious - as when they are led by Sister in the international hit comedy Late Nite Catechism by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan. Audiences have been "filling the pews" in the Fielding Nextstage at Geva Theatre Center since the show opened on November 2, and the theatre is delighted to announce that, by popular demand, Late Nite Catechism will be extended through December 11.

Late Nite Catechism is an uproarious piece of theatre that strikes a resonant chord with everyone who survived the ups and downs of going to school, with an omniscient authoritarian at the helm. Since it opened in Chicago in 1993, the show has played to full "classes" all over the world and has won several awards including the NY Outer Critics Circle Award and the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award. Critics have extolled the virtues of Late Nite Catechism, proclaiming it "A delight from beginning to end," (Chicago Sun-Times) and "One funny show. I laughed a lot and I'm not even Catholic." (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette).

Late Night Catechism is "habit-forming" and groups of all ages have been flocking to the Nextstage. As the LA Tidings newspaper suggested in its' review, "When you go to the delightful Late Nite Catechism, remember "to bring another soldier of Christ along." Chicago's Catholic Explorer extolled the virtues of Late Night Catechism as "a perfect show for church groups looking for an outing."
