Thomas R. Pryor presents CITY BOY - tales from his bittersweet 1960's upbringing in the working class Manhattan neighborhood of Yorkville, to the stage of the Cornelia Street Café on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 6pm. The show is based on his acclaimed 2014 memoir, I Hate the Dallas Cowboys - tales of a scrappy New York boyhood.

Part of the Cafe's month-long Solofest, City Boy is a love letter to NYC street life in the 1960s when Devil Dogs were a nickel, Spaldeens flew, and the capture game, Ringalario, let boys put their arms around girls for the first time. $10 admission includes a free drink.

Pryor's work has appeared in such outlets as The New York Times, This American Life, PBS, NBC and A Prairie Home Companion.
