The show incorporates songs from the acclaimed scores Is There Life After High School, Working and Three Postcards, as well as contemporary cabaret classics such as Flight and Life on Earth, and new material from Actor, Lawyer, Indian Chief. The New York Times calls Gillett "An idiosyncratic, fearlessly emotive baritone. His lack of conventional defenses allows him to have a vulnerability that most male singers prefer to conceal."
