LIGHTS OUT ON BROADWAY Series to Return to Bar URBO 3/9 to Support BC/EFA

On Monday, March 9th, Bar URBO, the stylish cocktail lounge on the second floor of URBO in the Theater District, will relaunch its "Lights Out on Broadway" series, inviting vocalists and musicians of the Broadway world to perform in a fun and casual environment on their night off. The live music series is free to attend and will take place every Monday night starting at 8 pm. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fund.

This curated open-mic night brings the stars of the Theatre District together at Bar URBO -- poised to become one of the most talked-about weekly events in the Broadway community.

"Lights Out on Broadway" is produced by Broadway stars Derrick Davis and Chondra Profit from The Lion King. With them at the helm of the show, guests can expect quite the collection of performers from Broadway's best!

While enjoying the musical styling's of theater's hottest stars, enjoy Bar URBO's excellent cocktail program from Bar Director Jan Warren (Dutch Kills). Signature cocktails to try include: the Snowblind with gin, sweet vermouth, egg white, honey, lemon, and allspice and the Royal Treatment with rye, absinthe, pineapple, lemon, bitters, and sparkling wine. Pair drinks with a few delicious bar bites, like The Mezze Platter with hummus, olives, piquillo, honey, and grilled pita or an order of URBO Fries.
