Dynamic songstress Beverly Taki takes the stage with the David Shenton Orchestra to entertain with her show, "From Memphis to Chicago: Blues Classics" on Sunday, August 6th at 7 p.m. at the Metropolitan Room.

Relax and enjoy great food and cocktails on offer at this famed club, while listening to great tunes from the lovely Taki, whose wide-ranging talent runs from Traditional Blues, Great American Songbook classics, and R&B. She's been seen at many of the city's top venues, including the Iridium, B.B. King's, Symphony Space, and Carnegie Hall.

The David Shenton orchestra comprises some of NYC's most talented and respected musicians. This scaled down band (for the sake of space!) will include including pianist/conductor David Shenton, guitarist Hendrik Helmer, bassist Mark Wade, drummer Scott Neumann, sax players Geoff Burke (from Harry Connick's band) and Stan Killian, and back up vocalists Erin Shields and Carla Duren.

There will be a special guest appearance by Bob Spiotto, famed entertainment director for the prestigious Friar's Club in NYC who will entertain with his inimitable and dazzling style!
