Pierce Brosnan Says James Bond Reign Ended Badly

Pierce Brosnan played James Bond in four movies. He ended his run in 2002 with Die Another Day, after which he was said to be too old to continue the role. According to Page Six, his run ended badly.

Brosnan stated, "I was lucky enough to make four Bond films. It finished in rather shambolic fashion, but I have no bitterness, no resentment."

Aside from James Bond, Brosnan has also starred in Mrs. Doubtfire, Robinson Crusoe, Mamma Mia!, Ghost, Remember Me, and many more. He is currently filming Survivor and The Moon and the Sun. He is also rumored for a role in The Expendables 4.
