The Concert Series at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer presents the Songs of Micah Young featuring the Broadway talents Wendi Bergamini (Promises, Promises, South Pacific), Joseph Medeiros (White Christmas, Guys and Dolls) Ric Ryder (Music Man, Grease, Blood Brothers), Matthew Deming (My Fair Lady Concert), and Kerry Conte (Brigadoon). The concert is at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer 30-14 Cresent St, Astoria NY. The Concert is at 6 pm Sunday February 20th; there is a $10 suggested donation.

Micah Young is a Composer and Music Director whose credits include: White Christmas, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, Chicago and Mary Poppins. Music Director for Lincoln in Love (Goodspeed Opera House), Bye Bye Birdie (CAP 21), The Wild Party (Riverside Theatre), The Last Five Years (Manhattan School of Music), The Casebook of Rudolf H- (New York Theatre Workshop). He has performed at Jacob's Pillow original compositions Mary Macabee: Nee Collins, The World Upstairs: A Song Cycle. Micah is currently the organist at Christ Lutheran Church, NYC and his training includes Bowdoin International Music Festival, Professional Musical Theatre Workshop with Paul Gemignani, Interlochen Arts Academy, and Manhattan School of Music with Constance Keene and Maria Asteriadou. Micah was recently chosen to be part of the 2010 BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.
