"Echoes of Etta", the multi award-winning Etta James musical tribute, is back home in New York City at Joe's Pub, with two performances, July 31st and August 1st, at 7 pm for their first LIVE IN-CONCERT recording.

After a featured appearance on the NBC Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a successful tour of Southeast Asia, and an exclusive appearance at the Commissioner's Tailgate Party for Super Bowl XLVIII, MRM Productions is proud to bring back William Blake and Michael Thomas Murray in the Manhattan Association of Cabarets' (MAC) 2014 "Show of the Year".

Blake's vocal prowess as an R&B and Jazz singer has made him the darling of the New York nightlife scene, from Birdland to the Carlyle, Town Hall to Carnegie Hall, Brandy's to the Duplex. Teamed with music director, pianist, and Echoes creator, Michael Thomas Murray (Forever Dusty, 50 Shades! The Musical), Blake has found the perfect vehicle for his soulful three-octave range and guileless lyric interpretation. Audiences at this regularly sold-out show are spellbound by Blake's ability to channel the voice of Etta James in what Broadway World calls "One of the best tribute shows of this, or any year."

"We are delighted to have this dynamic and powerful group back in our room." said Shanta Thake, director of Joe's Pub, adding "It has been a joy to watch this show grow into a phenomenon. Audiences beg for more every time William Blake leaves the stage."

With a trio of dazzling female back-up singers, known as The Peaches, and Murray's formidable band, Echoes of Etta delivers spectacular vocals and superb arrangements in a high-energy 90-minute testimonial to the legend who bridged the gap between Rock 'n' Roll and Rhythm and Blues. A night to remember for any fan of great music, with classic tunes including Sunday Kind of Love, At Last, Tell Mama, You Can Leave Your Hat On, I'd Rather Go Blind, Something's Got A Hold On Me and Purple Rain.
