Fans will also be treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and ranks at No. 91 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Tickets for "Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano" are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in nearly 700 select movie theaters around the country through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network. "It's unlike anything I have done before, a complete mix, a showcase of all my music, accompanied by spectacular scenery and beautiful video images," said Elton John.

At the centerpiece of the performance is the show's namesake "million dollar" piano, a one-of-a-kind engineering marvel featuring more than 68 LED video screens. A collaboration between Elton and Yamaha Entertainment Group of America, this state-of-the-art instrument is the perfect accompaniment to his spectacular show, as it displays imagery to complement each of the show's iconic songs. For "The Million Dollar Piano," Elton is accompanied by many from his legendary band, including Davey Johnstone on guitar, the late Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards, with a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.

Elton is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 35 gold and 25 platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits, and he has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. Elton holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time, "Candle in the Wind '97," which sold 37 million copies. He also holds the record for most appearances on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart, with his newest single, "Home Again," marking his 69th entry. Since his career began in 1969, he has played over 3,000 concerts worldwide. Elton has recently been named the first recipient of the BRITs Icon Award, which recognizes the very highest level of British music achievement, presented only to iconic artists whose writing, recording and performances set them apart as having made a lasting impact on the nation's culture.

"Elton John fans will be dazzled once again by his spectacular 'Million Dollar Piano' performance," said Dan Diamond, senior vice president of Fathom Events. "Experiencing this incredible show on the big screen is historic and truly worthy of a music legend of Sir Elton John's caliber."

"The Million Dollar Piano" is currently being performed to standing ovations and continues to sell out during Elton's residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The reissue of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" will be released on March 25 through Universal Music Group.
