On Monday, the Sundance Institute & Women In Film, Los Angeles (WIF) presented the Women at Sundance Brunch celebrating women artists at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival at The Shop in Park City, UT. Scroll down for a photo!

The packed house of over 300 filmmakers, colleagues and supporters were welcomed by Women In Film, LA President Cathy Schulman and Sundance Institute Executive Director Keri Putnam. Both spoke of the need to create a media ecosystem where women tell stories in equal numbers to men, and are working together alongside allied organizations to address and correct the glaring inequities for women working behind the camera.

Following the introductions by Schulman, Putnam and SELMA director Ava DuVernay, attendees were treated to a lively discussion featuring LILY Tomlin and Jane Fonda in conversation with Pat Mitchell (Sundance Institute Board Chair). The 9 to 5 and Netflix's Grace and Frankie co-stars discussed their careers as actresses and producers, and the importance of supporting women filmmakers.

Notable attendees included Ava DuVernay (Selma), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development/The Final Girls), Ally Ioannides (Parenthood), Maria Bello (Bravetown), Lauren Greenfield (The Queen of Versailles), Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone), and more.
