The Aliveness Project announced today that Sven Sundgaard and Rena Sarigianopoulos from KARE 11 will return as celebrity spokespeople for its 22 nd annual "Dining Out For Life" fundraiser. Dining Out for Life takes place at over 200 participating restaurants throughout the Twin Cities and greater metro area, Thursday, April 28, 2016. Each restaurant generously donates a portion of their sales to help people living with HIV/AIDS.

"This is a unique opportunity for people to join in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Just choose one of our restaurants and enjoy your meal(s) with friends all you have to donate is your appetite!" said Aliveness Project's Executive Director, Amy Moser.

"Dining Out for Life has benefited The Aliveness Project for over twenty years," added Moser.

"Last year, Dining Out for Life raised over $270,000.00 to support services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in our community. This year, we are excited to have even more diners and volunteers on April 28."

"It's a wonderful opportunity to gather with friends and do something good for our local HIV/AIDS community. More than two-thirds of our church participated last year and we're already planning for this year," stated Pastor Mary Albing of Lutheran Church of Christ the Redeemer in south Minneapolis.

The Aliveness Project is a Minnesota based organization that works to empower individuals living with HIV/AIDS, through a variety of health and wellness services like hot meals, integrative therapies, food shelf, medical case management, outreach/prevention and much more. Stability in health and wellness helps individuals who have HIV/AIDS live longer and healthier lives.

Dining Out for Life is an international event held in over 60 cities in the United States and Canada.
