Crave.it is perfectly named. You will want to return again and again to this trendy West Village Italian caffe to enjoy the lightest and flakiest croissants in the city or their delightful artisanal pastries.

But the enjoyment of their menu offerings doesn't stop there. They have you covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner with salads, soups and sandwiches and pizzas. There are also daily specials that include risotto and quiche. Crave.it will quickly become your favorite stop for their specially brewed Italian coffee or a cup of tea.

Crave.it is truly unique to the neighborhood. There are no other spots like it. It has continental charm with stylish decorations, an open kitchen and beautiful displays of their foods. On a recent visit, I enjoyed some of their pastries with coffee. The luscious flavor of their confections is as appealing as the presentation. Try some of their bite size treats with fresh berries, fruit, chocolate, or nuts. Each of them was individually pleasing and not overly sweet.

Crave.it is the work of Selvaggia Pizzetti, a native of Rome, who has hired Alejandro Quinones to turn out their delicious tidbits. All menu items are prepared in house daily. Fresh flavors come first.
