Engfer joined the Hyatt brand in 1977 and has worked at Hyatt properties across the United States with a highly regarded dedication to the company, her family, and the community.

Since 1996, she has held numerous chairwoman and leadership roles with a dozen local organizations such as Visit Orlando, the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association, Central Florida Partnership, YMCA and others. Engfer's constant support and leadership in the community was recognized by the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission with the 2012 James B. Additionally, Engfer was honored as the 2013 Business Woman of the Year by the Orlando Business Journal for her accomplishments not only in business, but also volunteer contributions at local charities to improve the community.

"As we celebrate 30 years of grand excellence at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, I look forward to capitalizing on the outstanding tradition of exceptional service of Orlando's original luxury resort," said Engfer. "Together, our dedicated team will continue to offer families and business travelers the highest quality resort experience in one of the nation's most popular destinations."

Through her expanded role as area vice president, Engfer will continue to foster and enhance long-term relationships among area properties including Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. Her continuum of leadership among business partners, community organizations, and industry affiliates is a valuable asset to the Hyatt brand and to the Central Florida tourism market.
