Jean-Claude Baker often said, "The show must go on." And so the late restaurateur would be delighted that the tradition of Valentine's Day at Chez Josephine would continue to cast its special magic spell. Baker was most proud that his creation, Chez Josephine, has been hailed as "one of the most romantic restaurants in New York City." He would say "the world" and he wouldn't be far off.

Chez Josephine has been the site of countless first dates, wedding proposals and anniversaries over its storied twenty-eight years. There could be no better occasion than Valentine's Day to convey Jean-Claude's infectious and generous spirit. He had described this special day at Chez Josephine as his "labor of love."

To celebrate Cupid's High Holiday the restaurant is featuring a special prix fixe menu with two seatings, one starting at 5:00 pm and one at 8:00 pm. There will be live piano music adding to the always engaging and aphrodisiacal atmosphere.

Jean Claude Baker passed away last month. He would want the love that he had for all to continue this Valentine's Day. Share his love and legacy at Chez Josephine.
