Latitude Beverage, the fast-growing Boston-based wine company behind 90+ Cellars, announces the release of a limited edition bottle design, available throughout the holiday season. The design, which features Argentina's Andes Mountains, will be silk-screened on two of 90+ Cellars' most popular wines: its Lot 23 Old Vine Malbec and its Lot 53 Cabernet Sauvignon. Both wines come from high-elevation mountain vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina.

"Some of the best wines in the world come from high-elevation, mountain vineyards," says Latitude CEO Kevin Mehra. "We wanted to highlight this fact and do something special for the holidays by showcasing the Andes on two core wines of ours that we believe are great representations of Mendoza's unique growing region at the foothills of these mountains."

The 90+ Cellars Lot 53 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a family vineyard in Mendoza, where the fruit was harvested from low-vigor vines, and finished in new French oak for 6-8 months.

The Lot 23 Old Vine Malbec, also from Mendoza, was made from meticulously tended Malbec grapes grown over 3,000 feet above sea level in the foothills of the Andes. After harvest, the wine is aged in French and American oak for a minimum of 6 months.

The source price for both bottles is $16.99. 90+ sells the wines for $11.99 retail.

"We have always focused on providing our consumers the best wine for their money," says Mehra. "Our model of seeking out award-winning wineries around the world and bottling surplus inventory under our own label allows us to do just this. But it also impacts our ability to talk about the specific wineries we source from. Bringing a new element of 'place' to our labels helps us to remind people that our wines are not generic blends from random sources. These are sought-after wines from great vineyards that are firmly rooted in places like the Andes Mountains."

Both bottles will be available in October, and can be found at retail accounts in 16 states where 90+ wines are sold or online nationally at www.ninetypluscellars.com. 7,800 cases were produced.

About Latitude Beverage Company (LBC)
Latitude Beverage is the innovative company behind national wine brands such as 90+ Cellars, Lila (canned wines), Iron Side Cellars, Magic Door Vineyards and Mija Sangria.

The company was founded by Kevin Mehra in 2007, who saw an opportunity to make high-end wine more accessible to a greater number of people by transforming oversupply at top wineries into lower prices for consumers. This unique business model based on the centuries old function of the ngociant, became the foundation for the 90+ Cellars brand. This same model has enabled LBC to expand its portfolio with five additional labels.
