For many professional dancers who move to New York, dance studios like The Joyce Theater's DANY Studios literally become a second home. Noted interior designer Vicente Wolf-described by Architectural Digest as an "undisputed minimalist master"- knows the importance of making this "second home" a comforting and welcoming place, which is why he agreed to give the historic space a major design facelift pro bono his past Fall.

The SPACEStv design channel (NYT) chronicled the DANY Studios redesign from start to finish and is releasing the 2-part series on YouTube this week. Watch parts one and two below!

The episodes feature exclusive interviews with Vicente Wolf himself, Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater Foundation, and Stephen Petronio, Artistic Director/Choreographer at the Stephen Petronio Company.
