Comedic storyteller, Robin Gelfenbien will welcome Joy Behar (The View), Dion Flynn (Obama on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) and Sam Dingman (Moth Grand Slam Winner) to share funny, true stories at this month's Yum's the Word show on Thursday, June 19th at the Gallery at LPR (le poisson rouge).

Each month Robin hosts this storytelling show/birthday party for audience members replete with Mad Libs, nostalgic candy and her signature homemade ice cream cakes. This month she will be celebrating Michelle Hurst (Miss Claudette from "Orange Is the New Black") as one of the honored birthday guests.

Ever since Robin was a little girl, her family has been making ice cream cakes for their birthdays, and she's since carried on that tradition for her friends' birthdays. They became so popular that she blended her passion for making ice cream cakes with her passion for storytelling, and Yum's the Word was born.

"What better way to kick off summer than with homemade ice cream cakes, funny, true stories from Joy Behar, Dion Flynn and more! The show is all about indulging your sweet tooth and your inner child," says Gelfenbien.

$15 tickets can be purchased in advance at www.lprnyc.com
