Iliza Shlesinger to Release New Comedy Special WAR PAINT, 9/3

Comedian Iliza Shlesinger brings her distinctive point of view to "War Paint," to be released by New Wave Dynamics digitally on September 3, 2013, with physical CD/DVD, and video to be released November 5th.

Her good looks are just a cover for Last Comic Standing winner Iliza Shlesinger's acerbic, stream-of-conscious comedy that she unleashes on an unsuspecting audience in her hometown of Dallas in "War Paint."

She dissects dating habits and is here to report back on why people go to sports bars, the hassles of getting packs of drunk girls to food, and what ordering lobsters on a date really means.

Iliza mostly recently was the host of the dating reality comedy show Excused, and is the youngest comedian and only female to hold the title of NBC's Last Comic Standing. Her past TV credits include her own half hour special on Comedy Central Presents as well as appearances on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Chelsea Lately,John Oliver, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, The Soup, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daily, Showtime's Pauly Shore and Friends, Showtime's Bridging the Gap Comedy Festival, and is featured in several comedy documentaries including I Am Comic.

Her live stand-up resume also includes performing at the coveted Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, hundreds of clubs and colleges, and in various countries for our troops overseas.
