Aurora Comedy Nights welcomes three of Atlanta's funniest comedians (all of whom grew-up and graduated in Gwinnett), on March 21 & 22 at 7:15pm and 9:15pm. It will be an evening to remember when Collins Hill Grads Mike Albanese and Bob Place are joined by Meadowcreek alum Dulcé Sloan for a colossal night of comedy. Hostess of Aurora Comedy Nights is bright young comedienne Katie Causey. Aurora Theatre has been bringing audiences the best local and national comedians since 2007. Now, Aurora offers a way for frequent laughers to enjoy live comedy in Gwinnett at a deep discount. ComedyTix is a punchcard with 6 flexible admissions that may be used at any Aurora Comedy Nights event for only $69.60, a savings of over $45.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Gwinnett (a Collins Hill Grad), Mike Albanese finds humor from his everyday life experiences mixed with his internal struggle with paranoia and longing for that perfect girl with whom he will inevitably blow it. Using comedy to cope and gambling to find more reasons to hate himself, Mike's humor might make you realize that maybe you aren't so strange after all.

Sassy and straight forward, Dulcé Sloan is a gifted actor, a former Aurora Theatre intern from Meadowcreek High School and has been doing stand-up-comedy for five years. Football fans will recognize Dulcé from her featured guest appearances on the FOX NFL Sunday Pregame Show as part of the "Riggles Pick" segment. She can be seen at clubs and venues all over including the Laughing Skull Lounge, The Improv Atlanta, Vaudeville Cafe and many more.

Renaissance man Bob Place is a comedian who performs at the Atlanta Improv and on stages all over the Southeast getting hardcore laughs. Place is also a filmmaker, as well as a musician performing with his band Swank Sinatra. Bob is also a Collins Hill Grad and old friends with Mike Albanese.

Hostess Katie Causey is a member of multiple improv and sketch comedy groups in Athens and in Atlanta. She is a recent UGA grad and an alumnus of the very first Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company.

Programing for Aurora Comedy Nights is made possible through the generous support of the series sponsor, Explore Gwinnett.
