Actor and comedian Gabriel Iglesias will take the Fox Theatre stage for his latest stand-up tour, "Unity Through Laughter" on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets ($33.50, $48.50 and $68.50) go on sale Friday, January 16 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, LiveNation.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Born in Chula Vista, California, Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced.

Today, Iglesias is one of America's most successful stand-up comedians and he performs in sold-out concerts across the United States and Internationally. His stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. His unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans.

Iglesias recently released his highly anticipated stand-up comedy film, The Fluffy Movie (Open Road Films) on July 11, 2014. That same summer, Comedy Central aired season 3 of Gabriel's hit series Stand- Up Revolution, which features comedians that he personally selected. Soon Gabriel will begin production on the highly anticipated sequel to the box office hit Magic Mike; reprising his role as Tobias with Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum. Magic Mike XXL will be released July 3, 2015.
