Gabriel Iglesias to Bring 'Unity Through Laughter Tour' to the Fox Theatre, 3/7

Actor and comedian Gabriel Iglesias will take the Fox Theatre stage for his latest stand-up tour, "Unity Through Laughter" on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Born in Chula Vista, California, Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced.

Today, Iglesias is one of America's most successful stand-up comedians and he performs in sold-out concerts across the United States and Internationally. His stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. Iglesias recently released his highly anticipated stand-up comedy film, The Fluffy Movie (Open Road Films) on July 11, 2014. That same summer, Comedy Central aired season 3 of Gabriel's hit series Stand- Up Revolution, which features comedians that he personally selected. Soon Gabriel will begin production on the highly anticipated sequel to the box office hit Magic Mike; reprising his role as Tobias with Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum.
