Comix At Foxwoods to Host Bill Engvall at the MGM Grand, 4/12

Comix At Foxwoods will host American Comedy Award winner for "Best Male Stand-up Comedian," Bill Engvall, at the MGM Grand Theater for a hilarious stand-up performance on Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Regular sale tickets are scheduled to be released onFriday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased in advance for $35, $47.50 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

A finalist on last season's Dancing with the Stars, Engvall is a true show business star. He starred in and executive produced his own self-titled sitcom for TBS, which ran for three seasons, and starred in the NBC series, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, where he played Jeff's best friend. His first album, "Here's Your Sign," was certified platinum and held the #1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks.

Engvall was part of the hugely successful Blue Collar Comedy concert films, which have sold more than 9 million units and are some of the most watched movies and specials in Comedy Central history. He also has several solo specials, including "Here's Your Sign, Live" and "Dorkfish," which was certified gold, surpassing Jerry Seinfeld's album to rank #1 on Billboard's Comedy Chart.
