Comedian Rob Delaney to Take Over Carolines on Broadway's Twitter Profile on June 3 Leading Up to His Headlining Debut, June 6-9

Comedian Rob Delaney, regarded as comedy's "top tweeter," is taking over Carolines on Broadway's Twitter profile on Monday, June 3 leading up to his big headlining debut at the club, which runs from Thursday, June 6 - Sunday, June 9. To keep up with all of the action, follow Rob at @RobDelaney and Carolines on Broadway at @CarolinesonBway. As part of the promotion, Rob will be tweeting using the hashtag #MoistWizard. Followers can tweet questions for Rob, as well as send their own funny tweets. Rob will pick his ten favorite tweets of the week with winners receiving a pair of tickets to see him perform live at Carolines on Broadway.

Rob will perform shows on Thursday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m.; on Friday, June 7 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.; on Saturday, Jun 8 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.; and on Sunday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online through carolines.com. Reservations can be made by phone at 212.757-4100 or in person at the Carolines Box Office, located at 1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th Streets on the ground floor. The Carolines Box Office is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10 AM - 8 PM and Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM - 10 PM.

Originally from Boston, Rob attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He performs stand up regularly at the top comedy venues in Los Angeles, New York, and various clubs and theaters across the United States. Rob is currently developing a book with Random House. His television credits include FUEL TV's The Daily Habit, Conan and the pilot Movie Nook for TBS. On Twitter, Rob has created a following of nearly 600,000 followers that grows every day. He's been listed as one of "The Funniest People on Twitter" on such sites as the Huffington Post, Vice Magazine, Paste Magazine, Funny or Die and is the winner of Comedy Central's 2012 Comedy Award for Best Twitter. Rob was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch for 2012, and was recently a contributing writer for the show Ridiculousness on MTV. Rob also sings the national anthem for the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
