The Clucked Up Comedy series will return to the intimate City Theatre to present Clucked Up Saturday Night "Access Grant'd" starring actor, comedian and writer Red Grant with special guests Ashima Franklin and Darrell Banks for two performances at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on January 5, 2013. The evening will be hosted by Detroit's own comedian and impressionist, Martini Harris.

Tickets ($25) go on sale Saturday, November 17 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Red Grant is an accomplished entertainer having starred in stand-up specials for Showtime's Caught Red Handed, Comedy Central presents Red Grant and is featured on HBO, Starz and BET. In addition to his television programs, Grant has appeared in more than 10 movies including American Hustle alongside Katt Williams and First Sunday, has written two films, most recently completing Mr. Breakup with the writers and producers of Trading Places, and has created seven shows and pilots for the Viacom Network.

The "Access Grant'd" lineup also includes Ashima Franklin, who has appeared in the Showtime special Kattapocalypse and in the film Friday, and Ohio based comedian Darrell Banks, who has been seen on HBO, BET and performed on Showtime at the Apollo.

Founded by comedic writer Karl King, "Clucked Up Comedy" was inspired by an encounter King had with comedian/actor Reginald Ballard, best known for his character "Bruh Man" on the hit series Martin; starring Martin Lawrence.
