About the author
HR Jakes has been writing all his life. He is a polyglot, fluent in English, Italian, French, German, Latin, and Ancient Greek. He compiles his mother's story in The Curious Autobiography of Elaine Jakes, and the two plan several more installments in the series. Jakes lives in Texas with his wife Diana, with whom he has seven children and one grandchild.
