James Franco visits the Strand Book Store in NYC on December 8, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for an exclusive signing of his book, Hollywood Dreaming, a story-picture-poem mashup that blurs lines of reality and fiction in a compelling coming-of-age tale.

Event Rules:

- Guests must purchase Hollywood Dreaming at Strand to join the line, but may have additional books by James signed, including A California Childhood.
- No other types of memorabilia, please.
- In order for James to meet as many fans as possible, there will be no photography.
- James will personalize copies of his books.
- A signing line will form at 4:30pm outside Strand along 12th street.

Purchase a copy of the featured event book, Hollywood Dreaming, in-store at Strand in order to join the signing line outside the store, which will form at 4:30pm. Strand is located at 828 Broadway, New York. Please note that proof of purchase (Strand receipt) is required to attend the signing line.

Franco made his Broadway debut this year in Of Mice and Men. Franco kicked off his career with roles in the TV series Freaks and Geeks and as 'Harry Osborn' in the first Spider-Man trilogy. He went on to appear on the big screen in Pineapple Express, Milk, 127 Hours, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oz the Great and Powerful, This Is the End and more. Among his upcoming film projects are The Interview, True Story, Black Dog, Red Dog, 'Don Quixote', The Little Prince and Zeroville.
