FoxWolf Productions is proud to announce their first theatrical venture, taking place this June at a hidden warehouse tucked away in the industrious backstreets of the Gowanus Canal. Directed by Christopher Hirsh and Alice Allemano, "A Midsummer Night's Dream will deconstruct illusory boundaries, tangible fantasy, embodied reality, truth and shadow. It will invite you to own your deepest and most delectable dreams and allow them to be brought to life through an evening of poetry, music and revelry." - From the Directors

This adaption of A Midsummer Night's Dream has an even larger conceit at play in its mimicry of The Mechanicals in the story. Rehearsed in numerous donated locations, including Prospect Park and the actor's own apartments, this production is a showcase of passion, of what it means to be an actor in New York and the struggle and joy in creating the impossible.

The venue, Redwood Studios is a 5,000 square foot event space that is premiering as a stage for this exciting summer solstice celebration. Audience members will be invited to stay after the performance for drinks, music and adventures with the actors through trap doors, ladders and a hidden speakeasy. Theatre-goers can look forward to interacting with furniture designer, Stefan Rurak's woodland props and playful scenic design. Actors will be clad in donated pieces from local design brand Chromat and traditional chucks from Converse-the aesthetic and costume design will reflect the space, industrial, utilitarian and stylish. A Midsummer Night's Dream will offer an immersive theatrical experience coupled with a party you'll never forget.
