A star-studded line up came out to experience the Billie Holiday Theatre's New York Premiere of Richard Wesley's AUTUMN over the weekend. Celebrities included Denzel Washington, Alicia Keys, Spikeand Tonya Lee, Ted Lange, John David Washington and renowned theater icons, including Stephen McKinley Henderson, Woodie King and Anthony Chisholm.

Tapping the genius of Richard Wesley and the vision of acclaimed director Walter Dallas, AUTUMN explores the conflicts that arise when aspirations collide across generational, racial and gender divides marking sharply different political agendas against the needs of the people. AUTUMN rips the band-aid off of political posturing and shows just how sinister campaigns can get when ambition supersedes service.

Cast includes: Stage, TV & film heavy-weights: Jerome Preston Bates (Seven Guitars, Stickfly, Peeples), Terria Joseph (Empire, Cornerstone), Brent Langdon (House of Cards, The Program), Dorian Missick (Southland, Deliver Me From Evil, Zoe Ever After), Count Stovall (A Streetcar Named Desire, Driving Miss Daisy, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) and Pauletta Washington (Beloved, The Watsons Go to Birmingham). Rounding out the cast is newcomer playwright and actor, Lekethia Dalcoe.

AUTUMN runs through November 6, 2016 at the Kumble Theater at LIU, 1 University Plaza, Brooklyn.
