Wow, I have to make a trip to see this production.
I still have Jeremy Jordan's headshots, album, & music videos. :)
Can someone please tell me if there's any nice hotel to stay in Hartford? What is the best way to travel from NYC to Hartford on weekends? Amtrak or bus?
Greyhound goes from Port Authority directly to Hartford. It takes 2 1/2 hours. $27 each way.
Amtrak goes from Penn Station to Hartford. It takes the same amount of time, for about double the price.
And it takes the same amount of time on the weekends as on weekdays.

He was a senior while I was a freshman at Ithaca College. He just graduated in 2007, and has been doing quite a lot. Don't worry though, he's absolutely fantastic. Updated On: 12/27/07 at 04:39 PM

Before anyone books a trip to awful, vile, disgusting, ought to be blown off the map Hartford, CT., it's not Jeremy Jordan, the former pop star. Or even Jeremy Jordan, the porn star. As per TheaterMania, "Jordan is a 2007 graduate of Ithaca College." Little Dog Laughed at TheaterWorks
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
BTW- I will see this show in Hartford.. I am going to buy the tickets tonight and yes.. I just saw WBaF's posting...I overlooked it bec. I was soo excited earlier..

Here's more of my memorabilia pictures from the Broadway production:
Is this the Jeremy Jordan ? I guess you guys are right ..the Jeremy Jordan (the blonde kid in the video) is around my age..and he would be too old to play a TWINKIE !
He is cute too... I will see the play! You guys know me ..if there's some gay sh*t going on... I'm IN !
This Tony Award-nominated comedy lampooning Hollywood morality had New York audiences in stitches! A barracuda in high heels, uber-agent Diane is out to land her client the movie role of a lifetime by any means necessary. The only problem is that Mitchell can't seem to stay in the closet, which may cost him this make-or-break career move. Will & Grace's wicked humor meets HBO's Entourage in a hilarious comedy The New York Times calls "a smash!"
Please note this production contains adult language and nudity.
Chad is great! My dad worked on the movie "End of the Spear", which was a flop, and even theproduction compant didn't enjoy the final product. But, he is great! I am glad he's doing some more fun stuff! Is his role the nude one?
Let's all remember this is not one of your greatest plays. Julie White was the source of all that was brilliant about it. Just sayin', before you all spend your money and make the trek, make sure you know what you're in for.
Have I ever shown you my Shattered Dreams box? It's in my Disappointment Closet. - Marge Simpson
Plenty of actresses can bring what Julie White brought to this role, and really, to this play.

But with all honestly, it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that this actress or any regional performer offered the role of Diane even had the chance to see Julie White's performance in what was a *very* short run on Broadway.
The TheaterWorks production has a brand new director, and who knows if he even saw the Broadway/Off-Broadway productions.
My guess is that he is using the text and forming his own interpretations based on that, and guiding the actors as though this is a completely new work.
This isn't a touring production of a Broadway show. It's a new production of a play that was on Broadway for a few months last year.
