Hello! I may be attending the first preview of Bullets Over Broadway, which I am over the moon about since I have never seen a preview let alone a FIRST preview! My question is, how is the view from the balcony at the St. James? BTW, I have sat in the balcony at the Palace Theatre twice and it did not bother me at all - I thought it was a great view.

If you don't mind your back being sore for a month because you have to lean so far over for 2.5 hours in order to see over peoples heads in one of the worst raked balconies in all of Broadway, you'll be fine.

^What Jordan said. If you're not in the front row, you're going to have an obstructed view if anyone in front of you leans over in order to get a better view!

Looks like I will be going with the mezzanine for this one then! How is the back of the mezzanine? Like row Q?

I like the mezzanine in that theatre.

Awesome! I just wasn't sure if it was like the Shubert where the overhang from the balcony blocked a lot of the upper half of the stage if you are in the last 2 rows!

The overhang, while not extreme, DOES restrict your view. I sat in the last row of the balcony for Bring It On and we missed a good bit of the top of the stage. Would rather sit in the balcony. Then again, I'm 6'5 and can see wherever.

6'5", huh? You should come on over to my place after a show one night to, yknow, talk.

Hey, sitting in these seats isn't fun for me either. Squeezing into the Schoenfeld last night was pretty miserable.

Has anyone sat in row O of the mezzanine? How is the view?
