Has she ever tried her hand in theatre? I love her and think she is a great talent and if you do not believe me watch Veep or Enough Said. But could she do the great white way??

I can't really answer your question re Broadway but I am absolutely besotted with her in Veep-her comedic delivery is first rate[brilliant writing]and again a wonderful, eccentric ensemble.

As far as I know, the only theater Julia has done was improv and comedy, maybe she did some in Chicago, but she was pursued by the SNL producers very early on in her career, so TV took over. Veep is a hilarious show, and she's fantastic on it.

It's really funny that you happened to ask this question now; on Friday, Julia was doing a live Q&A on Twitter, and I asked her if she'd ever consider performing on Broadway. Unfortunately, my question wasn't one of the answered ones, but I really wish it was. I can imagine she'd be phenomenal on stage in a comedy!

After studying drama at Northwestern University, Louis-Dreyfus began her career as a member of the prestigious Second City comedy troupe. It was while performing at Chicago's The Practical Theatre Company (a repertory theatre group founded by her husband Brad Hall) that she was chosen (at the age of 21) to become a cast regular on NBC TV's Saturday Night Live in 1982, where she remained for the next two seasons.

NBC TV's now-iconic series SEINFELD came in 1989 and catapulted her television career where she continues to reign as well as win countless Emmy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, etc.

Television success came rather quickly in her career and judging by her projects, it looks like film and theater never caught her interest.

Well does have a new film out now with the late James Gandolfini.

What parts would she suit?

God of Carnage maybe. I think she is simply fabulous in everything she touches.

I remember reading she could sing? Is that true?

She can sing a bit- look her up in "Gepetto" with Drew Carey, another TV star who has done lots of stage work.

In her first post-Seinfeld sitcom, Watching Ellie, Julia played a struggling professional singer.

Steve Carrell was a regular on the series, playing her ex-boyfriend.

Could she handle a musical with a simple score?

Dreyfus delivers the best comedic performance by an actress that has been seen on television in years. The woman is a treasure. She can do anything.

How about a revival of THE GINGERBREAD LADY?

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Julia actually has quite a lovely singing voice, although I think it is more suited for soft listening, jazz, etc. rather than big Broadway scores. I would love to see her tackle a straight play or comedy, and then perhaps dabbling in musicals.

She's one of my favorite television actresses of all time, so it would be such a thrill to see her on stage!

I truly believe her performance is Veep is definitely the best we've seen in years. It even surpasses our beloved Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and their performances on their respective shows. What she does is indescribable, she's just too good. Watch her go for 3 or 4 straight Emmys.

I envision her and Eric McCormack in a revival of 'they're playing our song'.

My partner and I just started watching Season 1 of "Veep" and I am completely blown away by her performance. We are laughing out loud constantly. Her praise/awards for this role are well deserved. Would love to see her on Broadway some day.

It would be great to see, but she has Veep. While it will not be on forever, I can see it having 2 or 3 more seasons. After that you never know.
