Pumpkin Theatre opens our 45th Anniversary Season "A Celebration of Imagination" with HOW I BECAME A PIRATE. Based off the very popular children's book by Melinda Long, this is the story of young Jeremy Jacob, who, one day while digging in the sand at North Beach is greeted by Captain Braid Beard and his mates, and is recruited to help find the perfect digging spot for their treasure. A musical story of adventure and finding one's own heart - a path that can't be found on any treasure map!.

Performances take place today, September 15 and September 16, 23 and 24 at 1 and 3pm at St. Timothy's School, 8400 Greenspring Avenue. 5, 4, and 3 play Subscription Packages available. How I Became a Pirate is directed by James Hunnicut with musical direction by Britt Olsen-Ecker, costumes by Wil Crowther and set by Ryan Haase featuring actors Connor Moore, Tommy Rinaldi, Derek Cooper, Anthony Scimonelli, Amanda Rife, Laura Malkus, Caitlyn Joy, and Sarah Winchell
