The famous Long Center Concert Club returns for another season with another year of incredible local and nationally recognized musicians. Intimate and local, the Concert Club features 5 fantastic musical performances ranging from blues to folk and country to jazz, presented in the acoustically splendid Rollins Studio Theatre.

Kicking off the 15-16 season on August 19th is the eclectic American band based in Austin, Texas; White Ghost Shivers. They mix cabaret, jazz, vaudeville, hokum, western swing, hillbilly, jugband and ragtime into a theatrical and infectious good time. They must be seen to be believed.

Imagine a smorgasbord of Cab Calloway, circus sideshow, KISS, cabaret, Hee Haw and Robert Johnson served up at Andy Kaufman's bat-mitzvah. A joyous mixture of the absurd and sublime, the six-piece ensemble gracefully blends a musical amalgam of Hokum Blues, Hillbilly Swing, Country and Hot Jazz.
