Chronicles of a Black Deaf Blind Girl Ghari is a 30-something year old woman whose life has just begun. Everything is new. She’s moved to a new city, learned a new language, started a new career, and is newly single. Join Ghari as she navigates her “new normal” and tackles the dating world…while DeafBlind…and Black. Chronicles is a multimedia production that includes dialogue, music, dance and other performance modes. Performances: Saturday, June 1st at 2pm Warnings: Please be advised that “Chronicles of a Black Deaf Blind Girl” has depictions of sexual assault. The play is recommended for adults. Performances will be in American Sign Language, with spoken English and English supertitles. Funding for Chronicles of a Black Deaf Blind Girl is provided by a grant from the City of Austin Economic Development.
