While Elm Street Cultural Arts Village had to cancel live performances of the Georgia Premiere of Will Coleman's Helvetica due to COVID-19 concerns, the Downtown Woodstock-based arts center has launched a complete digital experience of the play that audiences can enjoy from the comfort and safety of home for free between now and May 10th.
Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) escalating to a national state of emergency, Elm Street Cultural Arts Village has announced an update to their regularly-scheduled programming effective March 13th. The March 13th-22nd production run of Helvetica by Will Coleman has been cancelled, spring classes for children, teenagers, and adults have been postponed for at least two weeks, and the March 28th 2020-2021 Season Reveal has been postponed to a later date to be announced.
Starting March 13th, Elm Street Cultural Arts Village presents the Georgia Premiere of Helvetica, a new work written by Will Coleman, in which children's book author Helvetica is introduced three different times in her life and how her experiences weave together to tell her story.
August 16th, 2019 kicks off Elm Street Cultural Arts Village's exciting new season for 2019 and 2020 - A Season To Prevail. Associate Artistic Director Siobhan Brumbelow discusses how each production links to the theme of prevailing:
