SLEEPING BEAUTY Plays Center for Puppetry Arts, Sept 26-Oct 7
Sleeping Beauty, presented by NationAl Marionette Theatre, will play at the Center for Puppetry Arts, September 26-October 7, 2012. Join hero Prince Stefan as he sets out to rescue the princess Aurora, and her family's kingdom, asleep for almost one hundred years. Told from the prince's point of view, this adaptation of the much-loved fairy tale combines beautifully crafted marionettes with the timeless music from Tchaikovsky's ballet.

The show runs Wednesday – Friday: 10 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.; Saturday: 12 p.m. & 2 p.m.; and Sunday: 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. at Center for Puppetry Arts, 1404 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA.
Tickets for patrons ages two and older are $9.25 for Members and $16.50 for Nonmembers and include admission to the performance, Create-A-Puppet Workshop (or Create-A-Puppet To-Go Kit), and all museum exhibits. Center for Puppetry Arts is a unique cultural treasure – a magical place where children and adults are educated, enlightened, and entertained. Center for Puppetry Arts is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and is supported in part by contributions from corporations, foundations, government agencies, and individuals. Major funding is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council. These programs are supported in part by the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly. The Center is a Member of Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the American theatre.
