Broadway Across America - Atlanta brings Atlanta arts fans a lineup of Broadway sensations as part of its newly announced 2010-2011 season at The Fabulous Fox Theatre. Audiences will embark on a dramatic and diverse journey with the debuts of BURN THE FLOOR and SHREK THE MUSICAL paired with award-winning fan favorites DREAMGIRLS, WEST SIDE STORY and HAIR. 


Nickelodeon's STORYTIME LIVE! and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA are also included as season specials. Perfect for families and long-time theatre buffs alike, these special engagements.

The new season will launch in October with DREAMGIRLS, a Tony-and-Academy Award-winning musical offering fans a glimpse into the lives of a 1960's group of divas, from their rise to fame to the joys and struggles associated with success.

The touring production of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY will play in January. This timeless love story features one of Broadway's finest scores, including such classics as "Something's Coming," "Tonight," "America," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere."

Hot off Broadway, BURN THE FLOOR will then share a Latin and Ballroom dancing infused musical journey that is sure to delight any dance fan.

SHREK THE MUSICAL, based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage.

Wrapping up the dynamic season in May, Tony Award-winner HAIR continues to transcend generations with themes of youth, political turbulence and love.

Broadway Across America - Atlanta's 2010-2011 season packages are on sale now with prices ranging from $80 - $340. Season ticket prices will vary depending on the number of shows chosen, the number of performances, show time, day of the week and seating location. New subscriptions may be ordered online at BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com, via phone by calling 1-800-278-4447 Monday through Friday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm; or via fax at 1-800-329-8587. As part of an eco-friendly initiative, Broadway Across America - Atlanta will send renewal invoices to subscribers via email this year and encourages patrons to subscribe online for the new season.

Broadway Across America - Atlanta is also offering a three -part installment payment plan this year to help ticket buyers with season purchases, and early birds can take advantage of a special discount offer. Those who purchase or renew a subscription before April 23 will receive $10 off the price of each season package ordered.

Tickets to individual shows in the 2010-2011 Season are not available for purchase at this time. Single-show tickets typically go on sale to the general public 6-8 weeks prior to Opening Night. However, Season Ticket Holders have the unique opportunity to purchase additional tickets before they go on sale to the public. Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (All times are subject to change). An audio described performance for the visually impaired and an American Sign Language-interpreted performance for the deaf are available for each pre-determined Saturday matinee of each presentation.
