Starting on June 20, Marty Thomas (The Secret Garden, Wicked) will perform with his live band at Club XL in NYC; the concerts will be on Monday nights at 11 PM for four weeks.

Accompanied by his live band, the show is a mix of original material and cover songs covering
every imaginable genre. In addition, Thomas will be welcoming his Broadway friends to make guest appearances with him; on June 20th, he will be joined by his Wicked castmate, Jerad Bortz, who covers the role of Fiyero, having recently joined Wicked directly from the Broadway company of Mamma Mia! Other guests have included Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn), Billy Porter (Grease), Shelly Thomas (Brooklyn), Michael Longoria (Hairspray), Rhett George (Sweet Charity), Shoshana Bean (Wicked) and many more.

Thomas is in the Wicked ensemble, and is the understudy for Boq. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Yo Alice, Warm and Emma, and regionally in The Wizard of Oz, Mame, The No-Frills Revue, Grease and Merrily We Roll Along. In 2001, Thomas, an accomplished child performer who appeared on Star Search (and beat out Britney Spears for 1992 Junior Vocalist Champion), released his Billboard
debut on West End Records--"Resurrect Me (Lift Me Up);" he earned a Grammy nomination and won Billboard's Song of the Year in the gospel/contemporary Christian category. In 2004, he and his band released a self-titled CD of covers which ranges in style from country to rock to showtunes.

Club XL is located at 357 W. 16th St. (between 8th and 9th Avenues); there is no cover charge to the concert.
