WAITING FOR GODOT, the classic play by Samuel Beckett, will be presented by Petina Cole; Red Horse Productions, LLC; Leonard Soloway; Steven M. Levy, and Rock and a Hard Place Productions, LLC. The production will be directed by Alan Hruska. WAITING FOR GODOT will begin previews on Tuesday, November 8th at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue). The opening date is set for Wednesday, November 16th.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of WAITING FOR GODOT's Broadway debut. This production of WAITING FOR GODOT was developed at The Actors Studio and will play a limited engagement of 10 weeks only.

The cast includes Sam Coppola (Vladimir), Joseph Ragno (Estragon), Ed Setrakian (Pozzo), and Martin Shakar (Lucky).

In addition to Hruska, the WAITING FOR GODOT creative team includes Ken Foy (Scenic Design), Ann Hould-Ward (Costume Design), and Paul Miller (Lighting Design).

WAITING FOR GODOT's playing schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday at 8pm, Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Beginning October 15, tickets are available through Telecharge.com online or by phone at (212) 239-6200. Beginning November 1, tickets are also available in person at the Theatre at St. Clement's Box Office (423 West 46th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue). The ticket price is $55 for all tickets.

BIOS:

Alan Hruska (Director) has written and directed two films, Nola (Samuel Goldwyn Films), screened for the U.S. Army troops stationed in Kuwait and Qatar as part of the "Best of Tribeca" program presented by General Tommy Franks and sponsored by MTV, Vanity Fair and the Tribeca Film Festival, and The Warrior Class, premiering this October at the Hamptons Film Festival. He is also co-founder of the book publishing company, Soho Press, founder of the independent film company, The Talking Pictures Company, and author of the novel, Borrowed Time (Doubleday). Waiting for Godot is his debut in the theater. Before making movies, Mr. Hruska was a partner in the New York law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, president of various bar organizations, and a member of various public commissions and community boards.

SAMUEL COPPOLA (Vladimir) Broadway: That Champion Season; The Cane Mutiny Court Martial; The Happy Jew, Pals , Jungle in the City; Big Rosemary, Glengarry Glen Ross. Off-Broadway credits include the Actors' Studio revival of A Hatful of Rain. Coppola appeared as Gus in Alan Hruska's first film Nola, and as Abe Rosencranz in The Warrior Class. Film includes: Fatal Attraction, A Kiss Before Dying, Money for Nothing, Jacob's Ladder, Prince of the City, Citizen Cohn (HBO), Without a Trace, Saturday Night Fever, Serpico. Television: The Mob , Internal Affairs, Murder in Black and White, The Heist, The Brooklyn Countessa, Mob Justice, Law and Order, S.V.U., The Sopranos, The Right Verdict, The Practice, Wonderland Crossroads. Coppola's performance in Michael Hayes with David Caruso was submitted for an Emmy nomination.

Joseph Ragno (Estragon) Broadway credits include Rocky in The Iceman Cometh; Spotted Tail in Indians. Off-Broadway: Feedlot, The Black Marble Shoestand, The Return, The Memoirs of Pontius Pilate, A Barbershop in Pittsburght, Hunting Cockroaches, Just Say No, Everyplace is Newark, The Immigrants, Cymbeline, Power Failure. Film includes: The Shawshank Redcemption, Brother, The Yards, Jane Doe, No Way Home, The Babe, Critical Condition, Where the Buffalo Roam, Melvin and Howard, Fighting Back, The Phantom, Men of Respect, Law and Disorder, Fish in the Bathtub, Winterkills, A Day at the Beach, Daylight. TV includes: "Law & Order" "Third Watch," "The Commish," "Crime Story," "Gangster Chonicles," "The Equalizer," "LA Law," "Seinfeld." Regional: The Chain, A View >From the Bridge (The Hartman); Bone the Fish (Humana Festival); Road to Nirvana (Alley Theater); Mother Courage, Zoo Story, The Tiger (American Theater, Quai d'or say, Paris, France).

Ed Setrakian (Pozzo) – Broadway: Salome, Almost an Eagle, Days in the Trees, St. Joan, The Lovers. Off-Broadway: Nine Armenian's,Visiting Mr. Green, The Boys Next Door, Seduced, The Old Glory, Crossing the Bar, Water and Wine, Drums in the Night, Baal, Shout Across the River. NYSF: Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth, Coriolanus, Jackson's Dance. Regional: Sixteen Wounded, A Play of Giants, Of Mice and Men, Arturo Ui, Richard III, Twelfth Night. Television: Featured in "The Sopranos," "Law and Order," "Against Her Will." Recurring roles on most daytime dramas. Film: Principle roles in The Great New Wonderful, Astoria, Looking for Richard, A Day at the Beach, The Trouble with Harry, Cookie, Tough Guys Don't Dance. Member of The Actors Studio and the Ensemble Studio Theater.

Martin Shakar (Lucky) recently covered three roles in last season's Democracy. Broadway: Our Town (as Sam Graing at the A.N.T.A. and covered three roles in Paul Newman's production at The Booth.), Nightwatch; Richard III . Off-Broadway includes Room Service, Machinal, Awake and Sing, More Lies About Jerzy, Faith Healer, Hunting Cockroaches, Sunday Dinner, After the Fall, Birthmarkds, Goldberg Street. Regional: Nine Armenians (The Intiman, Seattle), A Dybuk (The Denver Ctr. Theatre). He toured in The First National Company of Lost in Yonkers as Eddie. TV includes: "L.A. Law," "Law and Order," "The Equalizer," "The Wright Verdicts," among others. Film: Uptown Girls, A Price Above Rubies, Fresh, Signs of Life, Hell's Kitchen, Invasion, U.S.A., Without a Trace, Saturday Night Fever (Father Frank, Jr.) He is a member of The Actor's Studio and The Ensemble Studio Theatre.
