World Wide Wall is a new series of online exhibitions curated by 6 internationally renowned artists, each of whom have selected 10 emerging artists from Saatchi Online. The series, presented exclusively online, recognises the powerful role of the internet as an alternative viewing environment to the traditional gallery wall.
World Wide Wall will run for 2 months with three exhibitions unveiled each month. These online exhibitions will give art lovers all over the world the chance to discover and purchase works by 60 outstanding emerging artists chosen by expert eyes. World Wide Wall, conceived by Rebecca Wilson, Chief Curator of Saatchi Online and Director of the Saatchi Gallery, London, follows Saatchi Online's highly successful 2012 project 100 Curators, 100 Days for which Wilson invited 100 curators from the world's most prestigious museums and galleries to each select 10 artists from Saatchi Online, creating the world's largest online art exhibition. "Saatchi Online's mission is to make art more widely accessible to collectors and art lovers in a non-intimidating, informative and carefully curated environment. This new project aims to show the high calibre of work being made by Saatchi Online artists and to give people the opportunity to discover and acquire works that have caught the eye of 6 internationally acclaimed artists," says Rebecca Wilson, Chief Curator.Videos
