WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) heats up the airwaves and the Internet with three live broadcasts in six days.

WFUV and NPR Music team up to broadcast Regina Spektor live from Le Poisson Rouge in New York City Thursday, May 31 at 10 pm. The classically-trained singer-songwriter released her first studio CD in three years, What We Saw from the Cheap Seats, this week, and it’s another unpredictable foray through music both edgy and charming.

On Monday, June 4 at 8 pm the station presents an FUV Live broadcast from at City Winery with a one-time New Yorker now living in Austin, Shawn Colvin, celebrating her new album, All Fall Down, produced by Buddy Miller and featuring performances by Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Jakob Dylan, Bill Frisell, and others.

WFUV and NPR Music will be at the Prospect Park Bandshell on Tuesday, June 5 at 8 pm to broadcast the iconic pioneer of reggae Jimmy Cliff in concert as Celebrate Brooklyn kicks off its 34th year of free performances.

WFUV and NPR Music will also partner to broadcast the sold-out Sigur Ros concert at Celebrate Brooklyn on July 31 at 7 pm and performances from the sold-out Newport Folk Festival July 28-29.
