On Twitter, Cameron Diaz, who will star as 'Miss Hannigan' in the upcoming film remake of ANNIE, had this to say @CameronDiaz

The upcoming remake of ANNIE will be helmed by Will Gluck from a script recently revised by Emma Thompson and Aline Brosh McKenna. The new film inspired by the classic Broadway musical with a modern spin also stars Quvenzhane Wallis in the title role with Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, and David Zayas. The film is currenly filming on-location in New York City. As previously reported, the film's release date is set for December 19, 2014.
