As BroadwayWorld reported in August, a homeless shelter specifically for LGBT youth will open on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, in honor of Bea Arthur, a staunch supporter of the LGBT community. Loyal followers of the hit #Ham4Ham show will recall that Weird Al Yankovic was featured on a digital episode of the popular pre-show performances that Lin-Manuel unwittingly began on the afternoon of Hamilton's first Broadway lottery. Last night, Weird Al returned the favor, inviting Miranda to join him on stage to sing 'Yoda' at a concert in Chicago, where Miranda is currently in rehearsals for the Chicago production of Hamilton. 6) Future of PHANTOM's 30th Anniversary Production Uncertain Following Theater Fire

Tragedy struck the Mogador Theater in Paris when the building caught fire last night, resulting in the injury of a fireman battling the blaze. The theater is currently home to the upcoming 30th Anniversary Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's international juggernaut, Phantom of the Opera. Although the fire has since been controlled, a spokesperson for the theater said that it was impossible to estimate how long repairs would take.
