Uncluttered by spectacle, the audience's imagination is free to soar, and this classic story comes to life in a way you have never imagined. This charming adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" written by Christopher Schario, adapted from the book by Charles Dickens, remains many peoples favorite. Much of Dickens' original text is used. Directed by Bridget Farias Gates, the production, performed by a small cast, begins with a boy reading the story for the first time. He is caught up in the story and is invited to enter the play. A fiddler underscores the story with traditional carols, and live sound effects create a delightful atmosphere igniting the holiday spirit for young and old alike.

The ensemble includes Patrick Lescarbeau in the role Scrooge, Augustus Henry and Kellen Koch playing on alternating nights as Actor #1 (Schoolboy, Dick Wilkins, Tiny Tim, Turkey Boy), Glen Bird as Actor #2 (Bob Cratchit, Marley's Ghost, Fezziwig, Old Joe), Ocean Fillingim in the roles of Actor #3 (Fay, Christmas Present, Peter Cratchit), Grace Ann Todd playing Actor #4 (Gentlewoman #1, Fan, Mrs. Fezziwig, Belle, Martha, Laundress), Cindy Callihan as Actor #5: Gentlewoman #2, Christmas Past, Mrs. Cratchit, Charwoman), Marti Good playing a townsperson, and fiddler Spencer Stephens.
